Norfolk’s The Light Aircraft Company (TLAC) is the new UK agent for the Swiss-built Light Wing AC4 aircraft.

The AC4 is available in three versions:

  • UL (Ultralight) in the 600kg microlight class

TLAC is positioning the AC4-LSA as suitable for both private owners and flight schools with low operating costs, ease of maintenance and full glass cockpit avionics.

“Welcome to the future of flight training and personal aviation with the Light Wing AC4,” said a statement from TLAC.

“Fully certified to EASA CS-LSA standards, the Light Wing AC4 is a high-wing monoplane with a maximum take-off weight of 600kg. It is designed to meet the rigorous demands of flight schools, aero clubs, and individual aviators seeking a reliable and comfortable aircraft.

“Powered by the economical Rotax 912iS fuel-injected engine, the AC4 boasts an impressively low fuel burn of just 11 to 14 litres per hour. This makes it a cost-effective choice without compromising performance or reliability.”

TLAC said it is offering a wide range of finance packages.
