Italian manufacturer Tecnam has just made its first aircraft delivery of 2016. It’s a two-seat Astore light sport aircraft and the customer is well-known to Tecnam for demanding the best they can produce…
… it’s none other than Paolo Pascale Langer, managing director of the company. Paolo’s aircraft is a special edition named the Tecnam Astore PPL (after Paolo’s initials).
The aircraft is painted in discreet military grey and among the special features are:
The Astore’s airframe is all metal with fairings and the upper radome in carbon/glass fibre. It’s powered by a Rotax engine, though Tecnam has not yet confirmed whether it’s the standard 912ULS, the turbocharged version, or the very latest 912iS.
