We’re delighted to welcome Flight Lieutenant Jamie Jackson, aka JJ, who has pretty much the ultimate aviation job: he flies the Lancaster for the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight!
Currently in his fifth BBMF season, JJ has spent his military career flying and instructing on somewhat more modern four-engined aircraft – the C-17A and the A400M. But, let’s face it, it’s the Lancaster we’re all interested in and we’re lucky to be getting the opportunity to find out all about what it’s like to fly this legendary aircraft – one of only two in the world still airworthy.
