We’re hiring a Marketing & Community Manager for Professional Flight Training

Are you passionate about aviation, savvy with social media, and know your way around a livestream setup? If you also happen to know how to sell out an event or two – read on

Interviewing at Pilot Careers Live

FLYER is expanding its reach into the world of professional flight training, and we’re looking for someone to help lead the charge. We’re hiring a Marketing & Community Manager – Professional Flight Training to grow an engaged audience, run smart marketing campaigns, and launch a brand-new weekly livestream aimed at the next generation of commercial pilots.

This is a full-time, remote-first role, ideally suited to someone UK-based and within 90 minutes of our studio near Bath. You’ll also be hitting the road (and skies) occasionally for European travel, covering training expos, school visits, and industry stories.

What’s the job?

You’ll be the driving force behind a new content stream dedicated to aspiring professional pilots. That includes:

  • Designing, producing and hosting a weekly livestream focused on the professional training journey
  • Creating video and social media content across platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram
  • Growing and engaging our online audience with smart, strategic marketing
  • Marketing our existing events and driving ticket sales through well-targeted campaigns
  • Spotting trends and building partnerships within the flight training world
  • Acting as FLYER’s in-house expert on the UK and European professional training landscape

Ticket sales will be a key performance metric – so we’re looking for someone who doesn’t just know how to build buzz, but who understands conversion, ROI, and what actually gets people to click “buy.”

Who Are We Looking For?

You’ll need to bring:

  • A working knowledge of the UK and European flight training ecosystem (ATOs, cadet schemes, airline pathways)
  • Strong marketing instincts – especially with video and social media
  • Confidence on camera and a good understanding of livestream production
  • Experience running marketing campaigns that drive ticket sales or event attendance
  • Enough technical know-how to set things up without calling IT every five minutes
  • A creative mindset, focused on building real community – not just racking up likes

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • A pilot’s licence (microlight, PPL, ATPL – we’re not fussy)
  • A background in journalism, content, or aviation media
  • Previously launched a podcast, YouTube channel, or digital community from scratch

How to Apply

We’d rather see your skills than read about them.

Send us a short video (max 2 minutes) introducing yourself and telling us why this role is for you. Use whatever format you think best shows your creativity, camera confidence, and feel for the audience.

Then email your video and CV to ics@seager.aero
