Aerobility, the UK charity dedicated to enabling disabled individuals to fly, has listed its one-of-a-kind Zenair CH-750 STOL aircraft for sale.
The all-metal, light sport utility aircraft – registered G-ICAN – was the result of a six-year inclusive build project involving both disabled and able-bodied volunteers.
Designed from the outset to be accessible to individuals with a range of physical impairments, the Zenair was completed in 2024 and has since been used for general aviation and therapeutic flying.
Aerobility CEO Mike Miller-Smith MBE described the project as more than just an aircraft build, “The process itself was fully inclusive, with adjustable height benches and specialist workshop tools allowing anyone, regardless of ability, to participate.”
Although the Zenair has served the charity well, Aerobility says the decision to sell comes as other aircraft in the fleet better meet the varied needs of its flyers. Proceeds will help fund new initiatives.
Built to a high standard and recognised as such by LAA inspectors, the Zenair offers STOL performance, side-by-side seating, good luggage capacity, and a useful load of 215.5kg (MTOW 600kg).
The aircraft has Garmin G3X avionics, including a radio, transponder and MGL standby instruments. The airframe, engine, and propeller have logged just 12 hours since new (as of 1 March 2025), and the Permit to Fly is valid until 30 September 2025.
While original modifications for disabled operation have been removed, they can be reinstalled if required. Full specifications and details are available here.
